Turbocharged 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Revealed At $54,995

The Dodge Charger is ready to make some noise … real noise.
The production 2026 Charger Scat Pack has been revealed and the order books open on Aug. 13.
The Charger Scat Pack is based on the same platform as the Charger Daytona Scat Pack, but is powered by a 550 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six-cylinder engine that Dodge calls the SIXPACK.
It comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive, but has a few muscle car tricks up its sleeve.

The drivetrain can be locked in rear-wheel-drive and there’s a line-lock feature that holds the front brakes so that it can do burnouts. It can also drift and easily do donuts in the rear-wheel-drive mode. It can also run a quarter-mile in 12.2-seconds, accelerate to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 177 mph.

But the most important feature for many customers may be the noise that comes out of its dual exhaust pipes. It’s not quite as raucous as a V8s, but it is authentic, unlike the synthetic sound generated by the Charger Daytona’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust.

Dodge is offering the Charger Scat Pack as a two-door at a starting price of $54,995 (plus a $1,995 shipping fee) and as a four-door for just $2,000 extra. Aside from the passenger doors, the two versions have identical bodies and liftbacks over a large cargo area instead of trunks.

The Charger Scat Pack 206.6 inches long and 79.8 inches wide, not counting the mirrors, which gives it a larger footprint than the Dodge Durango three-row SUV. The cabin is roomy enough for four six-foot-tall passengers to fit comfortably.

The interior design is largely the same as the Charger Daytona’s and includes dual digital displays and a modern take on the pistol-grip shifter. “Attitude Adjustment” ambient lighting offers 64 colors to choose from.
Charger Scat Pack deliveries are scheduled to begin before the end of this year and it will be followed by a Charger R/T model in early 2026 equipped with a 420 hp version of the SIXPACK for $49,995. Full performance specifications haven’t been released, but Dodge says it will have a 168 mph top speed.
The pricing of both Charger models lines them up nicely with their only direct competitor, the Ford Mustang GT. The much smaller coupe starts at $46,560 with a 480 hp V8.
Dodge hasn’t confirmed any plans for a new Charger with a V8, but with Ram bringing V8’s back to its light duty trucks and Jeep announcing plans for an expansion of its V8 offerings, it seems inevitable at this point. When Dodge CEO Matt McAlear was asked about it during a media briefing about the Charger Scat Pack, he coyly said, “don’t be surprised if it would fit.”
