Someone Just Paid $90,000 For The Fall Guy’s GMC Pickup

The Fall Guy lifted this one up! A 1981 GMC K2500 Sierra Grande used to promote the 2024 movie reboot of “The Fall Guy” was auctioned this weekend for $90,000.
The regular cab truck was modified to look just like the one that was featured in the original Lee Majors-led TV show and made a cameo in the Ryan Gosling film. That includes its two-tone paint, lifted suspension, light bar and brush bar with winch.
It doesn’t have the secret compartment that was accessed through the side of the bed where Colt Seavers hid his bounties, but the truck was used to haul Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt to the movie’s premiere at SXSW.
They also autographed it along with Majors and the film’s director, David Leitch. Similar trucks without the mods or celebrity connection are often found closer to the $20,000-range.

The GMC was sold at an auction of vehicles from the Rodz and Bodz Movie Car Museum in Englewood, Colo., which is moving and needed to trim its collection.

There were several authentic screen-used vehicles on offer, including Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger from “Fast & Furious” and “Fast Five” that also sold for $90,000.

The next highest sale price was another GMC product turned into a promotional vehicle for a reboot. Well, at least it looks like a GMC.

The GMC Vandura is a customized 1994 Chevrolet van that was done up for the 2010 “A-Team” movie with GMC badging, the A-Team’s iconic black, red and silver paint, CB radio, police scanner, reel-to-reel tape recorder and a mini Atari system to pass the time with during stakeouts.
