These 10 Vehicles Are The Most Likely To Reach 250,000 Miles In The USA
Long-lasting vehicles are a team effort.
They have to be reliable and affordable enough to make it worth an owner’s effort to maintain them and appealing enough to keep around for years.
the 2025 iSeeCars Longest-Lasting Cars report looked at the mileage on over 174 million used vehicle listings to determine the percentage of each that had reached at least 250,000 miles.
The results are the average across several model years and generations.
1. TOYOTA SEQUOIA
The U.S-built SUV was crowned longest-lasting model, with a 39.1% chance of hitting 250,000 miles
2. TOYOTA 4RUNNER
The 4Runner took place for longevity at a 32.9% likelihood of clocking 250,000 miles.
3. TOYOTA HIGHLANDER HYBRID
The top hybrid contender, with a 31.0% chance of reaching the quarter-million-mile mark.
4. TOYOTA TUNDRA
Built on the same chassis as the Sequoia, the Tundra is the leading full-size pickup with a 30% chance of hitting 250,000 miles.
5. LEXUS IS
The longest-lasting car model, with 27.5% reaching 250,000 miles.

6. TOYOTA TACOMA
The Tacoma is the best selling midsize pickup and also the most-likely to hit 250,000 miles, with 25.3% showing at least that many on their odometers.
7. TOYOTA AVALON
The Avalon is long gone from Toyota showrooms, but used ones have a 18.9 % probability of racking up 250,000 miles.
8. LEXUS GX
The GX is tops for endurance among luxury SUVs, with an 18.3% chance of making it to 250,000 miles.
9. LEXUS RX HYBRID
The RX is the top hybrid luxury SUV and 17.0% have reached 250,000 miles.
10. HONDA RIDGELINE
The Honda Ridgeline is the highest-ranked model that’s not from the Toyota family and 14.7% likely to keep on trucking until 250,000 miles.
