The compact Civic Sedan is the lowest-priced vehicle Honda sells in the USA, but it’s made in Canada. Budget shoppers looking for American metal need to go for the Indiana-built Civic Hatchback.

Subaru’s best-seller hails from the company’s only American plant in Indiana, where it has been building automobiles since 1989.
