The Cadillac Formula 1 Team revealed its race livery during a Super Bowl commercial that used parts of JFK’s famous Apollo mission speech to highlight the effort going into the launch of a new Formula 1 team
It uses a simple black and white color palette with a bit of a twist, as it is is asymmetrical and opposite on each side.
The brand’s crest logo is prominently displayed on the engine cover and the Cadillac name on the sides of the cockpit and on the rear wing.
All of the team’s sponsors follow the black and white theme, except for Tommy Hilfiger, which has its iconic red, white and blue logo on the nose of the car.

“This livery represents far more than a paint scheme; it represents who we are and what we bring to Formula 1,’’ Dan Towriss, CEO of Cadillac Formula 1 Team Holdings, said in a news release.

“Every detail is intentional: bold, modern, and unmistakably American, while respecting the heritage and precision that define this sport. Choosing to reveal our first race livery during the Super Bowl and in the heart of Times Square is a way to introduce our identity to the world at the intersection of performance, culture, and entertainment, and to connect with fans in places far beyond the paddock.”
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s merchandise stores opened on Feb. 7 and many of the items sold out on the first day, including everything related to driver Checo Perez.

The team’s cars will be on the track with the livery at the first open Formula 1 test in Bahrain February 11-13 and again at the same track February 18-20 before heading to Melbourne to kick off the season at the Australian Grand Prix on March 7.
