2025 NASCAR Truck Series Champion Corey Heim doesn’t have a full-time ride this season, but he’ll be kicking it off with NASCAR’s biggest race.
Heim and Justin Allgaier were the fastest of the eight open cars entered in qualifying, which guaranteed them starting spots in The Great American Race.
Heim is running a 12-race schedule for 23XI Racing this year and finished the first round of single-car qualifying in seventh position in the No. 67 Toyota, ahead of all three of the team’s full-time drivers.
Full-time Xfinity Series driver Allgaier finished 14th in the No. 40 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, which he drove to ninth place in the 2025 Daytona 500.
Heim set a Truck Series record with 12 wins last season on his way to the title, including the season-opener at Daytona, but this will be his first Daytona 500 start.
