Tesla Slashes Cybertruck Price To $62,235 With New Model

Tesla Cybertruck Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive

Tesla has introduced a new entry-level version of the Cybertruck with the electric pickup’s lowest price ever.

The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive model lists for $59,990 and is $62,235 with all out-the-door fees included. That’s $10,000 less than the short-lived Rear-Wheel Drive model that was offered last year. The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive has 325 miles of range, a 7,500-pound towing capacity and can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, according to Tesla.

It comes with textile upholstery and a downgraded entertainment system, but unlike the Long Range, retains the Cybertruck’s motorized bed cover. However, the bed does not have the underfloor Gear Locker storage bin that is standard on other trims. It is also equipped with computer-controlled adaptive shock absorbers, which the Long Range did not have, but does without the adjustable air suspension featured on other Cybertruck trims. A Premium All-Wheel Drive with the air suspension, upgraded interior, 11,000-pound towing capacity and other features remains remains available for $79,990 ($82,235).

The move comes just weeks after Elon Musk announced during Tesla’s fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call that “we will transition the Cybertruck to just a fully autonomous line.”

“There’s obviously a market there for cargo delivery, like you say, localized cargo delivery within a city, within a few hundred miles, something like that. There’s a lot of cargo that needs to move locally within a city, and an autonomous Cybertruck could be very useful for that.”

Tesla also took the occasion to cut the starting price for the top of the line Cyberbeast trim back to its original $99,990 ($102,235 out the door) by removing a mandatory Luxe Package that included the $8,000 Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature, which is now only available through a subscription on all Tesla models, including the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck.

Tesla sold just 20,237 Cybertrucks in the U.S. in 2025, which was a drop from 38,965 the prior year and second in the full-size electric pickup segment to the 27,307 for the Ford F-150 Lightning, which went out of production in October. The Cybertruck’s closest direct competition now includes the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Sierra EV, GMC Hummer EV pickup and the smaller Rivian R1T.

Update: You might want to act fast if you’re interested in the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, because Elon Musk posted to X that the price is “Only for the next 10 days,” without further elaboration.
