Ford sells the $114,000 720 hp F-150 Raptor R and $327,000 815 hp Mustang GTD from the factory, but there’s a much cheaper way to get trucks and pony cars with that much power.
The Ford Racing Parts division (formerly Ford Performance Parts) is now offering an easy way to supercharge any F-150 or Mustang with a V8.
It already offers supercharger kits in its catalog, but now Ford has teamed up with Fox Factory on a turnkey solution to have them installed on the way to the dealership.
Customers can opt for the kits at the time of purchase, which sends their vehicle for a stop at Fox Factory’s Elkhart Lake, Ind., facility to have them installed.
The F-150’s includes a Whipple superhcarger, intercooler and all of the calibration equipment needed to crank the Coyote 5.0-liter V8 up from 400 hp to 700 hp with 590 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, but 2026 trucks are not yet certified for sale California with the kit.
The Mustang version adds the high-flow fuel injectors from the last generation Mustang GT500 and a set of colder spark plugs, resulting in a boost from 480 hp to 800 hp, or 810 hp in models with the Active Valve Exhaust, including the Dark Horse.

Ford hasn’t announced final pricing for the accessory installations, but the kits themselves list for $10,250 for the F-150 and $10,500 for the Mustang.
Ford also has another supercharged Mustang on the way in the form of the Dark Horse SC, which goes on sale later this year. It’s essentially the successor to the last Mustang GT500 and shares its supercharged 5.2-liter V8, which was rated at 760 hp in that application. Ford hasn’t yet confirmed the Dark Horse SC’s power output or price.
