Ram 2500 HD Lunar Editions Launch During Eclipse

Ram Rebel HD Lunar Edition

Ram hopes you think its latest special editions are out of this world.

The truck brand has rebooted the Lunar Edition Ram 2500 HD Rebel and Power Wagon trims that it first launched in 2024. The announcement was timed to coincide with a lunar eclipse visible across much of North America.

The two-tone packages combine Ceramic Grey Clear-Coat with Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat paint and come with Lunar graphics; unique wheels; Natura Plus Black leathr upholstery with Copperhead Orange stitching; lockable console storage compartments; and alloy armrest badges.

It’s a $1,995 option on top of the Level 2 Equipment Group, bringing the starting price to $86.385 for the diesel-powered Rebel and $93,885 for the Power Wagon with a 6.4-liter V8.

“The new Ram 2500 Lunar Edition trucks give customers added value while making a statement,” Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, NA Marketing and Retail Strategy, said in a news release.

“The 2500 Power Wagon and Rebel are already some of the hardest-working off-road rigs in the 3/4-ton segment; the Lunar Edition treatment just makes them that much better with the popular content people love and the aggressive, customized look they want.”

The order books for the Lunar Edition Rams will open before the end of March.

Ram also recently announced that the Power Wagon will be offered for the first time with the 6.7-liter diesel straight-six-cylinder engine later this year. It is rated at 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque and will have a tow rating near 20,000 pounds and a payload capacity around 3,000 pound when it goes on sale later this year.
