Dodge is hoping to get in your brain with a psychedelic new color. The 2027 Charger is now available for oder in a new Purple Haze paint.
Dodge says the high-gloss finish “shifts in sunlight and deepens into a rich purple in the shade.”
It’s a tip of the hat to the High Impact colors the brand offered in the 1960s and coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Charger’s launch in 1966.
Dodge is offering it as a $795 option all all gas and electric versions of the Charger, in both two-door and four-door configurations.
It’s not the only purple hue with a musical connection currently available from a Stellantis brand.
Jeep recently launched a paint called Reign for the 2026 Wrangler and Gladiator that’s a direct reference to the color’s royal connections, but also brings to mind the artist also known as The Purple One’s classic song “Purple Rain” when said aloud.
