The 10 Best Selling Vehicles In The USA

The 2024 third quarter car sales reports are out and the top 10 is taking shape.

Several automakers only report sales quarterly, which makes a precise across-the-board comparison only possible four times a year.

You won’t find too many surprises near the top of the list, but there are still a few tight races for position.

(Note: exact sales figures for Tesla models are not available, but the Model Y would likely slot into the top 5.)

1. FORD F-SERIES

The perennial best seller has racked up 550,835 deliveries so far in 2024.

The F-Series’ top rival remains far behind it with 412,396 deliveries.

The Toyota Rav4 is the best selling vehicle that’s not a pickup with 350,331 deliveries.

In yet another classic rivalry, the Honda CR-V trails the Rav4 at 298,164 deliveries.

Ram’s pickups were top three contenders not long ago, but have fallen to 268,666 this year.

The Silverado’s sibling has picked up 229,398 customers this year, giving GM an industry-leading total of 641,794 full-size truck sales.

The Camry remains the best selling traditional “car” model, but its 227,576 deliveries can’t compete with the Rav4.

The Nissan Rogue is the third place SUV at 189,156.

Honda’s smallest car but up big sales with 188,422 deliveries.

The Toyota Corolla is the lowest-priced car made in the U.S. which helped it make this list with 177,092 deliveries.
