The Best Selling Small Pickups In The USA For 2024
Big pickups are the top sellers in the U.S., but the small ones also put up pretty big numbers.
The variety of midsize and compact pickups is the largest it’s been in years, but only one can be number one.
Here’s a look at the final tally from 2024:
1: TOYOTA TACOMA – 192,813
Tacoma sales dropped 17.9% in 2024 as the first truly all-new model in two decades was launched, but the midsize truck still managed to stretch its number one sales streak to 20 years.
2: FORD MAVERICK – 131,142
The compact unibody Maverick has been a big hit for the brand in recent years and even outsells the Ford Ranger.

4: NISSAN FRONTIER – 68,155
The Nissan Frontier is built on the oldest pickup platform, but value pricing, solid reliability and incremental updates have kept it near the top of the charts.
