The 10 Best Selling Vehicles Of 2024 In The USA
Nearly 16 million new vehicles were sold in the U.S. in 2024, marking a 2.2% increase from the prior year as the market continued its recovery from supply shortages and inflationary pressure.
Believe it or not, all of the top 10 models were either entirely built in the U.S or had a few versions that were.
Here’s a look at the best sellers from last year.
1. FORD F-SERIES: 765,649
The Ford F-Series extended its streak as the best selling truck to 48 years and has also been the best selling model line of all for 43 years. Its total figure includes the electric F-150 Lightning.
2: CHEVROLET SILVERADO: 542,517
Chevrolet’s light and heavy duty Silverados combined for second place on the list. The figure doesn’t count the Silverado EV.

3: TOYOTA RAV4: 475,193
The Toyota Rav4 retained its spot as the best selling vehicle that’s not a pickup with an all-time record for the model.
4: HONDA CR-V: 402,791
The Rav4’s top rival also had a record year, but the CR-V came up short to finish fourth.

5: RAM PICKUP: 373,120
Ram’s pickups were competing with the Silverado for second place a few years ago, but sales have plummeted dropping it to fifth.
6: TESLA MODEL Y: 372,613 (EST.)
The Tesla Model Y was the best selling car in the world in 2023, but sales dropped by 6.6% in the U.S. as Tesla prepares to launch an updated version.

7: TOYOTA CAMRY: 309,876
The Camry may have fallen behind the Rav4 SUV, but it is still the best selling car in the U.S. and has been for 23 years.

8: GMC SIERRA: 322,946
The GMC Sierra is mechanically identical to the Silverado and when you add up their sales the GM trucks beat the F-Series.
9: NISSAN ROGUE: 245,724
Nissan has had better years as a brand, but the Rogue remains a bright spot in its lineup.
10: HONDA CIVIC: 242,005
The little Civic continues to put up big numbers and was the best selling compact car.
