The 10 Best Selling Vehicles In The USA In 2025

The first quarter automotive sales reports are in and it could be the end of the good times for a while.
With President Trump’s new tariffs looming, the industry is preparing for the worst and customers have been flocking to dealers to stock up while prices remain low.
There are a few newcomers that didn’t make the 2024 year-end list, but plenty of familiar faces.
Here’s a look at the top 10 best selling vehicles through March:
(Tesla doesn’t break out U.S. sales in its report, so none are included, but we’ll update it if we get solid numbers.)
1. FORD F-SERIES: 190,389

The Ford F-Series (F-150 through F-600) continues its reign as the best selling vehicle line.

2. CHEVROLET SILVERADO (LD + HD): 125,298

Unlike Ford, Chevrolet breaks out sales numbers for its light and heavy duty Silverado models (78,199 and 47,099, if you’re interested), but we’ve added them here for comparison.
3. TOYOTA RAV4: 115,402

The Rav4 outsold the Ford F-150 last year and remains the best selling vehicle that isn’t a pickup truck.
4. HONDA CR-V: 103,325

Honda has been cranking up production of the CR-V and is closing the gap on the Rav4.
5. RAM PICKUP (LD + HD): 78,848

The Ram pickup has been out of the top three for a while and that trend continues into early 2025 despite the launch of an updated model.
6. GMC SIERRA (LD + HD): 77,292

The GMC Serra lineup saw a big jump in sales that saw it almost catch Ram’s trucks.
7: CHEVROLET EQUINOX: 71,002

Chevrolet’s updated Equinox is a big hit that leapfrogged several perennial top selling models.
8. TOYOTA CAMRY: 70,308

The Toyota Camry remains the best selling sedan/hatchback, but has likely lost its title as the brand’s best seller to the Rav4 for good.
8. NISSAN ROGUE: 62,102

Nissan’s business may be struggling a bit, but Rogue sales have not.
9: HONDA CIVIC: 58,976

An updated Honda Civic that includes the return of a hybrid model has helped it keep a strong sales pace.
10. CHEVROLET TRAX: 59,021

The $21,495 Chevrolet Trax is the lowest priced model available from a U.S. brand, but it is made in South Korea, so it’s unclear how much it will be affected by the tariffs.
