The Most Powerful Jeeps Ever
Jeeps may be known best for crawling over rocks, but some of them can also fly … down the road.
The brand has introduced an increasing number of performance models in recent with more power than most wheelers could ever hope for. Some of them aren’t even meant to be driven off-road.
Here’s a look at the kings of the hill from several model lines:
1. 2018 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE TRACKHAWK: 707 HP
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk was a street-focused model powered by a 707 hp version of the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 that was first made famous by Dodge’s muscle cars. It’s 3.5-second 0-60 mph time was the quickest of any Jeep when it came out.
2. 2024 JEEP WAGONEER S LAUNCH EDITION: 600 HP
Jeeps first electric model debuted in an appropriately named Launch Edition trim with a 600 hp all-wheel-drive system that can accelerate it to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds to make it the brand’s quickest-ever vehicle … for now.
3: 2025 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER: 540 HP
The full-size Jeep Grand Wagoneer can do it all. There are street luxury and off-road trims and with its 540 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six-cylinder engine it can tow up to 9,800 pounds with ease.

4. 2021 JEEP WRANGLER RUBICON 392: 470 HP
The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is too powerful to kill. The off-road features a 6.4-liter V8 that is rated at a nice round 470 hp and 470 lb-ft and was set to go extinct in 2024 with a Final Edition model, but proved to be popular that Jeep kept it around and hasn’t announced any new plans to try to kill it.

5: 2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 4XE: 375 HP
The Grand Cherokee 4xe is mean and green. The plug-in hybrid version of the fifth-generation model combines a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with electric drive to crank out up to 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It can also cruise along in all-electric mode for up to 26 miles between charges, which is a nice way to enjoy the great outdoors. The Wrangler 4xe shares the same powertrain.
