The first electric Dodge Charger Daytonas will be shipping to customers in a few weeks and it looks like they’d better check the limits on their charge cards.

Possible pricing for the first two-door versions of the battery-powered muscle cars has been leaked ahead of the official announcement.

The info comes from YouTuber Butter Da Insider, who is known for his Stellantis scoops.

Mopar Insiders posted screenshots from a dealer pricing website that reveals list pricing for the R/T and Scat Pack First Edition trims.

According to the forms the R/T is priced at $68,570 and the Scat Pack at $81,170.

Both totals include several option packages that aren’t itemized, including Direct Connection eStage kits that increase the R/T’s horsepower from 456 hp to 496 hp and the Scat Pack’s from 590 hp to 670 hp.

Dodge has previously said that the R/T would have a range of 317 miles per charge and the Scat Pack 260 miles per charge, but didn’t specify if the eStage kits change that.

Dodge has also not commented on the leaked information, which includes the caveat that “prices shown are tentative and subject to change or correction without notification.”

For comparison, the 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 375 hp 5.7-liter V8 listed for $43,235 and the Challenger Scat Pack with a 485 hp 6.4-liter V8 for $50,860 before options. The electric Charger Daytona will also be offered in four-door versions that replace the last-generation Charger starting next year.

More official information could be coming soon as Dodge will be hosting the Roadkill Nights legal street drag racing event in Detroit on August 10th and is holding a media event the day before where attendees will be able to “hear the latest news on the all-new, next-generation Dodge Charger Daytona.”

Dodge is already teasing what some of that news might be as it has released a short video on social media that demonstrates the sound of the latest version of the Charger Daytona’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which simulates the sounds of a V8-powered car.

The car driving through a tunnel for added audio effect appears to have a deeper, throatier sound than the last clip Dodge released. There may even be a touch of supercharger whine thrown in now, but judge for yourself.

American Cars And Racing last year uncovered the patent designs for the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust that showed its inner workings. Speakers push the sound through tuned tubes that are meant to give it a richer tone and exit through the rear bumper like a regular exhaust would.

The car will be getting a real exhaust next year as the electric versions will be followed by ones simply called the Charger that are powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine.
