The Honda Passport Is Being Renewed For 2026
The 2026 Honda Passport will be an all-new version of the midsize SUV, the automaker announced today.
Honda released the first teaser images of the redesigned model showing its front end in shadow and its profile from a distance.
Details are scant, but the announcement calls it “the most adventure ready and capable Honda SUV yet” and offered in a Trailsport trim like the current Passport, which gets off-road-tuned springs, dampers and stabilizer bars, plus a set of General Grabber A/Tx tires on 18-inch wheels. Underbody protection plates are an option.
As with today’s Passport, the new one will surely be a two-row version of Honda Pilot, albeit the all-new one that was introduced for the 2023 model year and is powered by Honda’s tried and true 3.5-liter V6.
HYDROGEN-POWERED HONDA CR-V PRICE REVEALED
One of the images shows the front of the vehicle and it is distinct from the Pilot with the word PASSPORT embossed in the fascia and what appear to be three air intakes in the hood above the grille. These could be either a simple styling element or also functional, but there’s no indication as to what they are for.
The profile image doesn’t give much detail when you zoom into it, but the vehicle looks like it is wearing a camoflage wrap.
Honda also offers a Trailsport version of the Ridgeline pickup, but it has not yet announced one for the best-selling CR-V, despite the availability of “rugged” versions of some of its competitors, like the Toyota Rav4 TRD Off-Road and upcoming 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek.
Honda did not say when the 2026 Passport will be fully revealed, but confirmed that it will be on sale early next year. The 2024 Passport

The 2024 Passport is priced from around $42,000 to $48,000 with the Trailsport slotting between the entry-level EX-L and street smart Black Edition.
