Of course The Greatest rode around in a great car!

A 1959 Cadillac Series 62 that was used for years by Muhammad Ali will be offered at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction, which runs Oct. 10-13 in Arizona.

The Georgian Blue stunner has been repainted once and has a new fuel tank and exhaust, but is still equipped with its original 390-cubic-inch V8 and four-speed Hydramatic transmission.

It was owned by Ali’s assistant Frank Sadlo in the early 1990s and the boxing legend was often seen in it riding around his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

It’s a six-window model from the year that marked the pinnacle of Cadillac’s tail fin design. It features blue and Carlisle metallic cloth and blue metallic coated fabric upholstery, power windows, power front bench seat, air conditioning and something no other car has.

Ali autographed the glove compartment door and it is being offered with photos of him with it. It is the only vehicle known to have his signature on it. All of the license plates it has worn to date are also part of the lot, as is a pair of signed boxing gloves.

It’s in good, but far from concours condition, but was kept in storage in California for 23 years by a previous owner, who sold it on Bring A Trailer just this past August for $36,000.

That’s roughly what Hagerty values the model at without the celebrity provenance. Barrett-Jackson doesn’t offer a pre-auction estimate, so the market will decide when it crosses the block.

Another interesting luxury car with something of a boxing connection is also being offered at the event. It’s a 2004 Lincoln Town Car limousine that was owned by Donald Trump’s Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., where many a prize fighter passed through.

It’s not autographed by the former president, but does come with a personal itinerary that was found under the seat covering the weekend of May 15-16 in 2004, which included a stop at his daughter Ivanka’s graduation from Wharton and a rehearsal for the NBC up front event in New York, where he was promoting his then-new show, “The Apprentice.”
