Chevrolet reported 444 Camaro deliveries in the third quarter of this year and it won’t be that high again anytime soon.

Camaro production ended last December and there are no immediate plans to replace it, leaving dealers to sell what’s left. And it’s not much.

According to Autotrader there are now just 97 new Camaros sitting on lots across the entire U.S. and it’s not even an entirely precise number as several are shown to be older models with significant mileage on them.

The total is split between 33 coupes and 64 convertibles, and there are a few remaining Hendrick Motorsports 40th Anniversary cars still out there, but there’s one model you won’t find on the list. That’s the top of the line ZL1, the last of which was sold in July for $134,040.

Chevrolet delivered a total of 5,750 Camaros through September, putting it a distant third on the pony car sales charts. The Dodge Challenger also went out of production last December, but the automaker left its dealers with a large stock that let them deliver 24,874 through September. About 2,500 remain. The Ford Mustang is very much alive and well, however, and it led the way through the first nine months of the year with 36,485 deliveries.

Chevrolet is having no trouble selling Corvettes, however, and handed over the keys to 25,711 of them during the first three quarters. It will be looking to accelerate sales even more with the introduction of the 1,064 hp ZR1 early next year.

As for the Camaro, it will live on in NASCAR for at least one more year as Chevrolet has decided to continue racing it in the Cup Series and Xfinity Series despite it being out of production. Rules allow it to race the model for as long as it likes, but it can’t make any updates to the design. One small but signifficant change will be the removal of the Camaro name from the rear bumper, which will be replaced by Chevrolet.
