The New Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Is Only Available In One State — Any Guesses Which One?

You’ll have to go west, Jeep Gladiator buyer, if you want the latest version of the midsize pickup.
Jeep has unveiled a new limited edition Big Bear version of the Gladiator that will only be sold through California dealerships.
The Big Bear is based on the Sport S trim and comes equipped with the Gladiator’s standard 3.6-liter V6 and eight-speed automatic transmission, which drives the wheels through a Jeep Command Trac 4×4 system with two-speed transfer case.
Black 17-inch wheels with 32-inch mud-terrain tires are standard along with steel rock rails, a body-color hardtop and premium black McKinley leather upholstered seats. The seats are also heated heated, as are the steering wheel and heated mirrors for ski trips to Big Bear Mountain.

Big Bear decals adorn the hood and the model can be ordered in ‘41 green, Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red or Anvil gray paint.
“Our 2025 Jeep Gladiator Big Bear Edition brings Californians their own unique take on the Gladiator, with a pickup truck that delivers popular content as standard and at a great value, plus signature Jeep capability and class-exclusive open-air freedom,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said in a news release. “It’s the perfect companion for exploring California’s standout geography, whether you’re heading to its sandy shores, rugged peaks or expansive deserts.”
Just 5,000 will be built and the order book is open now with starting prices at $48,085.
California isn’t the only state to get its own Gladiator, of course. Last year, Jeep released a High Tide that was only sold in Florida and the Texas Trail for the Lone Star state.
There’s also another Gladiator that borrows its name from California, but it’s not limited. The Gladiator Mojave is a high-performance off-road model with a special suspension system designed for high speed off-road driving. Click here to watch our full review.
