The Ram 1500 Rebel X is back for 2026 with a straight-six.
It’s an upgrade to a Rebel with the Level 2 Equipment Group that comes with a sunroof, leather-wrapped console shifter, paddle shifters, premium leather seats and Rebel X graphics.
The Rebel X is only offered with the Ram 1500’s Hurricane turbocharged 420 hp inline-six-cylinder engine, while the standard Rebel can also be ordered with a 5.7-liter eTorque V8. Ram is still ramping up production of the revived V8, which is offered on most Ram 1500 trims, and is having trouble keeping up with demand for the popular engine option.
The Rebel X carries over the Rebel’s off-road goodies, which include a one-inch suspension lift, Bilstein monotube shocks, skid plates, town hooks, 33-inch all-terrain tires on black 18-inch wheels and an electronic locking rear differential. To that, it adds a Rough Road Cruise Control system that works up to 20 mph.

Level 2 Equipment Group is an extensive package with a 14.4-inch touchscreen display, a front passenger display, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, wireless charging pads, heated rear seats and much more.

The Ram brand is coming off of a big win in the J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study, where it won the Large Light Duty Pickup segment over the competition from Ford, GM and Toyota.
Pricing for the Rebel X starts at $71,930 and it comes with a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. The order book is now open.
