Frank Sinatra Jr. followed in is father’s footsteps with a music and acting career with the same snazzy style, including the cars. One first owned by the singing scion has now popped up for sale on the other side of the pond.
The 1969 Buick Rivera was apparently bought new by Frank Wayne Sinatra Jr. in the fall of 1968 when he lived on Fox Hills Drive in Los Angeles, according to the original paperwork.
The Deep Gray Mist coupe has black vinyl upholstery and a numbers-matching 290 hp 7.0-liter V8 under its glamorously long hood that’s been rebuilt and updated with fuel injection.
The car is equipped with power everything, front disc brakes, a Hydra-Matic transmission and a limited slip differential. It sill has its power antennal, but it’s connected to a modern vintage style bluetooth audio system. According to a business card from “Chips Auto Radio” discovered in the dashboard, the custom audio system it replaced had been installed on Nov. 25, 1968.

Sinatra died in 2016, the same year the car was sold and restored and shipped to Sweden where it currently resides. The upholstery, chrome and body are listed in very good condition with a little wear and a literal tear in one of the seats.

Its current owner acquired it in 2021 and has now put it up for sale on t4he Bilweb Auctions website, where offers are being accepted through May 13. The high bid had reached 128,000 Krona at the time this story was published, which is equivalent to around $14,000.
