NASCAR will be celebrating America’s 251st birthday deep in its heartland with a race weekend at Iowa Speedway July 2-4.
The Cup Series race will also be smack dab in the middle of the schedule as the 18th of 36 points races. The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will also take part in next year’s event with a Saturday race.
The .875-mile oval will also be getting a full repave, which will begin after this Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol, which suggests the NASCAR-owned track has earned a permanent place on the schedule for the foreseeable future.
The track was only partially repaved in the corners ahead of the 2024 race due to an asphalt shortage, but will be completely redone this time around.
NASCAR has announced several race dates for next year, but the entire schedule has not yet been released as several events are still being locked down.
