The dirty dozen is complete.

Jeep has wrapped up its year-long Twelve 4 Twelve lineup of special edition Wranglers with the launch of the 2027 Swtichback. Jeep released a new limited edition trim each month to celebrate the brand’s spiritual 85th anniversary, which dates back to the launch of the World War 2 Willys MB.

The Switchback borrows its name from a concept that debuted at the 2017 Moab Easter Jeep Safari and features mix-and-match styling.

The Rubicon X-based model is being offered in two-door and four-door versions with a blend of Black and Sting-Gray body panels.

The Switchback is availble with all of the Rubicon X powertrains, which include either a 285 hp 3.6-liter V6 with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission or a 270 hp 2.0-liter with the automatic.

“Twelve 4 Twelve unleashed creativity across the Jeep brand, bringing teams together to reimagine an icon through different perspectives while staying true to what has always defined Wrangler,” Branden Coté, Jeep brand CEO said in a news release. “What this team accomplished with Twelve 4 Twelve is truly unique, a testament to the creativity, passion and collaboration that define the Jeep brand. Switchback is the perfect finale. It takes Wrangler’s inherent spirit of personalization somewhere unexpected, pairing bold contrasts and interchangeable elements with the legendary 4×4 capability at the heart of every Wrangler. Even after 85 years, there are still new ways to express what Wrangler can be.”
