The Gladiator is getting a lift. Jeep is launching a factory 35-inch tire option for the 2027 model year that comes with a package of upgrades to handle the big rubber. The limited-release 35-Inch Tire Launch Edition is being offered on the Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X trims.
It comes with bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, a one-inch suspension lift, a 4.56 final-drive ratio, a full-time 4:1 transfer case, heavy-duty Dana axles and performance brakes.
Highline fender flares and wheel flare extensions are designed to accommodate the larger tires, and bronze tow hooks accent the package along with bronze graphics. The Approach, beakover and departure angles are 46.7, 23.3 and 26.7 degrees, respectively, and the ground clearance is measured at 12.9 inches. The breakover angle is particularly significant on the long wheelbase pickup and up from 20.9 degrees on a standard Rubicon.
“Gladiator customers continue to personalize their vehicles to tackle bigger adventures, and 35-inch tires have consistently been one of the most popular modifications,” Jeep CEO Branden Coté said in a news release. “The Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition gives customers the capability, confidence and distinctive look they want straight from the factory, backed by the quality and engineering expected from the Jeep brand.”
