The Chevrolet Camaro will be returning to showrooms soon, but there’s a new one on sale right now. Well, it’s like-new.
The 2024 Camaro ZL1 listed on Bring a Trailer with 17 miles on its odometer is one of 350 Collector’s Edition versions of the trim that were built to celebrate the end of the sixth-generation Camaro’s run.
It was an appearance package that included Panther Black Matte paint named for the code name that the original 1967 Camaro was developed under, black lug nuts and the aggressive ZL1 1LE front splitter and rear wing.
Panther logos are also integrated into the fender badges and the number plaque on the steering wheel, which shows that this one is the 174th car built. The leather interior is trim is Jet Black and Adrenaline Red.

The original list price was $88,690 and it is otherwise a standard Camaro ZL1 powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 rated at 650 hp and 650 lb-ft that’s matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet also offered Collector’s Edition versions of the 1LT, LT1 and 1SS trims. The Collector’s Edition cars also came with a Shinola Canfield Sport 45mm watch with the logo on its face, but the listing doesn’t mention if it is included. The online auction is scheduled to run through Sep. 4 at 2:07 p.m. ET and the high bid was already $85,000 at the time this story was posted.

Camaro production wrapped up on December 14, 2023 with the last of the 2024 model year cars. The final car off of the line was a ZL1 1LE with a manual transmission, but Chevrolet never released images of it or confirmed its destination.
The Camaro nameplate is set for a revival in the next year or so, but as a very different car. American Cars And Racing has learned that it will be a four-door this time around, but built on an updated version of the sixth-generation’s chassis that it will continue to share with the next Cadillac CT5. An exact date for its reveal and release has yet to be confirmed, but Chevrolet has already secretly shown it and the NASCAR Cup Series car that will be based on it at a dealer meeting.
