Toyota ‘Dawn’ Teased, But What’s On The Horizon?
Toyota is about to shed light on a new car.
The automaker has released a teaser image of an upcoming model.
The shadowy photo only shows the front of the car in silhouette with its lights illuminated.
It was accompanied by the cryptic headline “A New Dawn Is Coming” and the question “Can you guess what’s on the horizon?”

The car appears to be a sedan, which means its likely the next generation Camry or Corolla, with its proportions suggesting the midsize Camry.
The current Kentucky-built Camry generation launched in 2018, so it’s about due for a redesign, although a 2024 model is already on sale.
The Mississippi-built Corolla, which is currently the cheapest new car made in the USA, is a year younger.
Toyota recently added the Crown large sedan to the lineup, so there’s not really room for an entirely new model.

There isn’t any indication as to when the full reveal will happen, but both the Camry and Corolla are also built and sold overseas and the Japan Mobility Show (formerly the Tokyo Motor Show) is set to kick off on October 26, so it’s possible the car will make its public debut there.
