The CX-50 compact SUV is the only vehicle Mazda builds in the U.S. It is assembled in a factory in Alabama that Mazda shares with Toyota.

The Nissan Rogue is set to be replaced with an all-new model in 2027, but the current Tennessee-built version starts at $31,035.

10. HYUNDAI TUCSON: $30,800
The Tucson is Hyundai’s best-selling vehicle and every one of them comes out of its Alabama manufacturing plant.

9. TOYOTA CAMRY: $30,295
The Kentucky-built Camry is the best-selling car in the U.S., but not because it’s the cheapest. There are several sedans you can get for less money.

The compact SUV segment is the largest passenger vehicle segment in the U.S. and the Georgia-built Sportage is the most affordable way to get into it with an American-made vehicle.

7: HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK: $29,090
The compact Civic Sedan is the lowest-priced vehicle Honda sells in the USA, but it’s made in Canada. Budget shoppers looking for American metal need to go for the Indiana-built Civic Hatchback.

6. CHEVROLET BOLT: $28,995
Chevrolet has rebooted the electric Bolt and moved production from Michigan to Kansas. It is the cheapest US-built General Motors vehicle, the cheapest US-built electric vehicle and the cheapest US-built vehicle from an American brand.

5. NISSAN ALTIMA: $28,825
The Altima is built at Nissan’s factory in Canton, Miss., alongside the Frontier, which happens to be the lowest-priced pickup that’s made in USA.

4. HONDA ACCORD: $29,590
Oddly, the Ohio-built midsize Honda Accord has a lower starting price than the smaller Civic Hybrid. Sticklers might argue that’s because you get one fewer door. It’s also the lowest-priced US-built sedan.
6. SUBARU CROSSTREK: $28,415
Subaru’s best-seller hails from the company’s only American plant in Indiana, where it has been building automobiles since 1989.

Americans love SUVs and the Alabama-built subcompact Corolla Cross is the cheapest one that’s assembled in the USA today.
