Jeep has revived the classic Laredo trim as part of this year’s Twelve 4 Twelve rollout of special edition models celebrating the 85th anniversary of the original World War 2 “Jeep.”
Jeep first offered a Laredo with the 1980 CJ-5 and it lived into the 1990s with the first-generation Wrangler, before being put on the shelf. in 1995. Jeep teased its return in March with a concept revealed at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.
The new Wrangler Laredo is available in two-door and four-door models and is a $1,995 add-on to the Willys with Xtreme 356 Package, which includes 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires on beadlock-capable wheels and a one-inch lift.
It gets brown and gold Laredo graphics, bronze tow hooks and Trail Rated badges, and a Gobi tan grille. A tan soft top is standard and black hard top is optional on both configurations, while the four-door can be ordered with a Sky One-Touch power top.
The interior gets Bison Brown Nappa leather upholstery with Mayan gold stitching — instead of the concept’s southwestern-inspired fabric — and a mix of black and brown trim. Laredo badges are added to the center console and tailgate and cowboy hat designs are included on the air vents.
The order book for the Wrangler Laredo opens in late July. Final pricing for the 2027 Wrangler lineup hasn’t been announced, but a two-door 2026 Wrangler Willys with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and Xtreme 35 package starts at $51,245.

Jeep delivered 86,254 Wranglers during the first six months of its anniversary year while Ford 76,936 Broncos, but the Bronco outsold the Wrangler in the second quarter 45,739 to 41,793 to set up a tight race to the end of the year.
