THE GIST: The 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee revives the classic model name with a 600 hp Sixpak 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine and chassis upgrades aimed at improving the Charger’s performance on both drag strips and road courses.
The Super Bee is back! Dodge has unveiled the 2027 Charger Super Bee powered by the most powerful Sixpack turbocharged straight-six engine yet.
The 3.0-liter inline-six gets bigger turbos and a new intake system that boost its power from 550 hp in the Charger Scat Pack to 600 hp. Driveline components have been beefed-up to handle the added output.
The body has also been redesigned with unique front and rear ends that include a larger spoiler, a more aggressive front splitter and new grille openings that improve engine cooling and increase front downforce by up to 100 pounds at 150 mph.
The Super Bee, which is available in two-door and four-door models, features 16-inch Brembo front brakes stuffed inside 20 x 11-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. The suspension features stiffer springs and roll bars and computer controlled dampers.
The drive modes include a Drag setting that harnesses weight transfer under acceleration along with Launch Control and a Torque Reserve feature that spools up the turbo while limiting torque with one foot on the brake and one on the gas. Dodge says the Charger Super Bee can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and do a 11.8-second quarter-mile. It also has a Track mode for road courses that firms up the suspension and calibrates the thermal management for long lapping sessions.
The Chrarger Super Bee will first be offered in a Launch Edition trim with three color choices. There’s a yellow-treen Sucker Punch paired with black graphics and accents, Diamond Black with Sucker Punch graphics and Shady, which is a dark gray with Diamond Black graphics. All have Hyper Lime brake calipers, Sour Lemon stitching and high-back performance seats with black and Citrus Peel cloth upholstery.

Pricing and a start date for deliveries will be announced later this year, but the current top-of-the-line 2027 Charger Scat Pack starts at $61,985.
