Ram is dressing up its Chassis Cab trucks with a new Night Edition Package that’s being launched for 2027.
It includes a Sport Performance hood, black wheels, black badges and a grille surround, front bumper and fender flares painted the same color as the body.
The package will be offered across the 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab lineup for both Regular Cab and Crew Cab configurations.
It is a $2,195 on Big Horn models equipped with the optional Level 1 or Level 2 Equipment Group and $1,695 on the upscale Laramie trims.
Full 2027 pricing has not yet been released, but a 3500 Regular Cab Big Horn with the Level 1 package and a gas 6.4-liter V8 starts at $57,325, while a turbocharged 6.7-liter straight-six Cummins Diesel is a $9,995 option and capable of towing up to 34,380 pounds in a 5500 Chassis Cab. Deliveries are scheduled to begin late this year.
Ram has been expanding its heavy duty truck lineup with new trims and options, including the first-ever Cummins Diesel-powered Power Wagon, which is now on sale with a $89,560 base price.
Its turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel is rated at 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft. The diesel Power Wagon can tow 19,639 pounds and carry a 2,930-pound payload. It drinks from a 31-gallon tank and the truck is outfitted with nearly the full array of Power Wagon off-road equipment including standard four-wheel-drive, solid axles with electronic locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar, Bilstein monotube dampers, 34-inch all-terrain tires, rock rails, a full array of skid plates and steel bumpers. One key feature that’s not yet available is a factory front winch, which inhibits engine cooling, but Ram is working on a solution and hopes to add one to the options list down the line.
