World War 2 might have been over sooner if the U.S. military had Jeeps with firepower like this.
The latest entry into Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve series of special edition models that kicked off last November is the Wrangler Willys 392. Jeep is launching a new model or trim on the 12th of each month through this October to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the original military ‘Jeep’ built by Willys.
The Willys 392 is equipped with the same 470 hp 6.4-liter V8 featured in the Wrangler Moab 392. It comes with 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires on 17-inch wheels that help give it 11.1 inches of ground clearance, a Selec-trac full-time transfer case, Tru-Lok locking rear differential, Dana 44 axles, rock rails, steel bumpers and a cold air intake hood with Jeep’s Hydro-Glide water separator.
It’s dressed in throwback-style decals and Nappa leather seats and comes from the factory with a nine-speaker, 552-watt Alpine audio system, trailer tow package and standard soft top.

It is available in all of the current Willys paint choices, including the military green ’41, plus a new Goldilocks color that’s being added this year. Pricing starts at $71,990 and the order books open in March.
The other Twelve 4 Twelve models that have been released so far are the Wrangler and Gladiator 85th Anniversary Editions, Wrangler Whitecap, and Wrangler Moab 392.
