The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Is Worth $342,000 Now

Someone is about to pay $93,000 for a Chevy Corvette. That is to say, pay $93,000 for the opportunity to buy a Chevy Corvette.

A 2026 Corvette ZR1X is up for auction on Bring a Trailer and the bidding has gone through the roof. The loaded black on black ZR1X Coupe 3LZ has $249,018 sticker price, but the high bid at the time this story was posted was $342,000 and there were seven hours left.

That $93,000 premium would buy a very nicely appointed Corvette Stingray with money left over, but we’ll note that $20,000 is earmarked for charity.

The car is being sold new by California’s Rydell Chevrolet Northridge. While its not uncommon to see Corvette ZR1Xs listed by dealers with huge markups, it is unusual for them to be offered through auctions, which unveil the real market value.

This particular example of the 1,250 hp all-wheel-drive hybrid is equipped with the optional carbon fiber aero package, ZTK performance track package and more than a dozen other options.

According to a production tracker, Chevrolet has been building the Corvette ZR1X at a rate of about 100 per month since production began in December.

Bring a Trailer auctions often see a flurry of bids close to the end, but this one is unlikely to set a record for the model when it wraps up in the afternoon on March 20. That currently stands at $2.6 million, which is what NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick paid for a unique Corvette ZR1X Stars and Steel edition car, but the amount comes with an asterisk because the full hammer price was earmarked for charity.

For those interested, here’s a list of the charities that the buyer of the Bring a Trailer can choose from for the donation, which is made to the organization by the dealer.

• Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
• Tunnel to Towers
• Pre-Born
