Ford is dressing up one of its work trucks to match many of the people who will use it. The 2027 Super Duty Carhartt is a first of its kind collaboration between the two Michigan-based companies.
Available for the F-250 and F-350 XLT Crew Cab single-rear-wheel models, the Super duty Carhartt package adds Carhartt logos on the tailgate, doors and fender vents; a spray-in bedliner with Carhartt logo; 20-inch wheels with a design inspired by manhole covers near the Carhartt store in Detroit; all-terrain tires; off-road running boards; a dark grille; and LED exterior lighting.

The interior features cloth upholstery with triple-stitching like Carhartt’s products; Carhartt logos on the seats; and all-weather floor mats with a grid pattern borrowed from Carhartt’s weatherproof tool bags.

“When Carhartt shared their customer profile information, we saw so many overlaps, including Ford trucks that their customers drive,” chief designer for Ford Vehicle Personalization Steve Gilmore said. “As we learned more, the values that we share — in design, staying true to materials, looks, feels, and being the best product we can offer to our customers — were the things we held onto.”

Ford is opening the order book the Super Duty Carhartt trucks on May 8. It is a $4,195 option that is bundled with the XLT’s Premium Package and can be combined with the FX4 Off-Road Package.
