Ford is teaming up with outdoor clothier and gear outfitter Filson on a new “rugged premium” version of the Bronco SUV.
The Bronco Filson will be fully revealed on June 3, but a teaser image released with an announcement on the partnership suggests it will feature a body color roof, fenders and unique spare tire cover and also be equipped with the Bronco’s extreme off-road Sasquatch package. Dave Rivers, head of Ford enthusiast brands, confirmed that it will be a four-door and a regular edition to the Bronco lineup, not a limited availability trim.
Ford is setting a high bar for the model, describing it as an “heirloom quality” vehicle that will look better with age, but it has not yet shown the interior, which is where Filson’s input will have the biggest impact.
The two brands previously collaborated on a Wildland Fire Rig off-road fire-and-rescue truck concept as part of a program to support the National Forest Foundation.
The Bronco Badlands Sasquatch-based build was equipped with firefighting gear and trimmed with Filson duck canvas, quilted black leather inspired by its jacket linings, a top made from ripstop nylon like Filson backpacks and hardware fashioned from Filson’s iconic brass.
“Bronco and Filson are built from the same idea – that the right equipment should help people go farther, work harder and stay out longer in the toughest conditions,” Ford Blue and Model e President Andrew Frick said. “This collaboration brings that shared heritage to life, combining Bronco’s proven capability with Filson’s legacy of durable, purpose-built gear to deliver something that’s ready for real-world adventure from day one.”

It’s Ford’s second tie-up with a clothing company this year, following the launch of the F-Series Super Duty Carhartt package, which is a new $4,195 option that will be available for the 2027 F-250 and F-350 XLT that includes Carhartt-style triple stitched upholstery and the brands logos.
