Ford is rolling out a new Proud to Honor package for F-Series Super Duty trucks as a “factory-backed tribute to American grit” and America’s 250th birthday. The appearance package will be offered through the Ford Custom Garage parts portal for after sales installations later this year.
It includes a bold American flag-inspired graphics kit for the cabin sides and black wheels, including the first 19.5-inch forged aluminum wheels offered for Ford’s dual-rear-wheel trucks.
It is compatible with XLT and Lariat trucks that. have the Black Appearance Package, trucks with the Tremor package and Platinum, but not Platinum Plus trims.
A portion of the yet to be announced purchase price will be donated to Blue Star Families and Ford’s veteran services-supporting Proud to Honor charities.
The Ford Custom Garage is part of the newly rebranded Ford Racing Parts catalog and the Proud to Honor package comes with a 3-year./36,000-mile warranty. The Ford Custom Garage already includes appearance and performance kits for the Bronco, Bronco Sport, F-150 and Mustang.
Ford also recently introduced the F-Series Super Duty Carhartt package for F-250 and F-350 Crew Cab single rear wheel models, which is is a factory option that includes Carhartt logos, unique 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, off-road running boards, Carhartt fabric-inspired upholstery and interior trim and other package-specific touches.
“When Carhartt shared their customer profile information, we saw so many overlaps, including Ford trucks that their customers drive,” chief designer for Ford Vehicle Personalization Steve Gilmore said. “As we learned more, the values that we share — in design, staying true to materials, looks, feels, and being the best product we can offer to our customers — were the things we held onto.”

It is offered as a $4,195 option bundled with the XLT’s Premium Package and can be combined with the FX4 off-road package.
