The 2027 Dodge Charger lineup has been revealed and it looks a lot like the 2026 edition.
The gas turbocharged straight-six-powered 420 hp Charger R/T and 550 hp Charger Scat Pack return mechanically unchanged while the electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack lives on and gets a significant update.
Its 670 hp power rating is the same, but it is now equipped with an NACS charge port that allows it to use Tesla superchargers without an adapter.
Other charging networks are switching to the format, which is becoming the standard across all automakers selling in the USA thanks to its ease of use.

Updates to the internal combustion engine models are largely cosmetic and include new Petrol Blue performance leather seat and Demonic Red seat belt options along with an availble Satin Black hood, side graphics and an orange Brembo brake caliper package.

Dodge also held the line on pricing with the Charger R/T starting at $49,995, the Charger Scat Pack at $54,995 and the Charger Daytona getting a small price drop from $73,190 to $72,495. Four-door models ad $2,000 to the Chargers, but just $500 to the Charger Daytona. These are MSRPs and do not include the destination fee.

One thing missing is a V8 model. Dodge has announced that there is a new Charger SRT in the works, but has not confirmed what type of engine it will have or when it will go on sale, except that it will be available before 2030. It will likely be revealed later this year as a 2028 model year vehicle that goes on sale in calendar year 2027, but that’s speculation on our part.

For now, Dodge V8 fans will have to opt for the Durango SUV, which will once again be offered with 360 hp 5.7-liter GT Hemi, 470 hp 6.4-liter R/T 392 and 710 hp supercharged 6.2-liter SRT Hellcat options in 2027.

Pricing starts at $43,675 for the GT Hemi, $50,995 for the R/T 392 and $80,495 for the SRT Hellcat.
