California custom car builder Rezvani has sent its 1,000 hp Corvette Stingray-based Beast back to the lab to create the Beast X.
The new model is a redesigned Corvette E-Ray with a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 driving the rear wheels and a front electric motor with a combined output of 1,560 hp, which is more than double the E-Ray’s 655 hp.
It’s also a lot more than the Corvette ZR1X’s 1,250 hp and comes with a new body that includes an air intake on the roof, a split rear wing, a massive diffuser and dihedral doors.
The widebody exterior is unrecognizable as a Corvette, while Rezvani updates the interior with new trim and carbon fiber seats.
With the all-wheel-drive traction and 1,280 lb-ft of torque on tap, Rezvani claims the Beast X can accelerate to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds, but does not offer a projected top speed.
Rezvani will build just five examples of the Beast X and is now accepting reservations with a $1,500 deposit, but has not yet revealed the price.
The standard Beast launched in 2024 at $485,000, but the price was quickly increased to $585,000 before options, which include armoring, bulletproof glass and a security smoke screen that could push the final tally well over $700,000.
While it isn’t listed as an available feature for the Beast X, Rezvani recently announced that it is developing the Rezvani Quick Shift, which is a gated stick-shift controller that will be able to operate the Corvette’s dual-clutch automatic transmission in manual mode.
The device is a collaboration with Italy’s Studio Carrozzi and can robotically move the stick if the driver changes gears with the steering wheel paddles. Rezvani has not announced a firm date for its launch, but will first make it available for the Ferrari 458, 488, F12 and GTC4 Lusso.
