Megazilla’s Sequel Is a Real Monster Ford built a custom Bronco for the 2026 SEMA Show to showcase its new Megazilla 2.0 crate engine.
The engine builds on the currently offered naturally aspirated Megazilla 7.3-liter V8, which is rated at 612 hp and 670 lb-ft of torque, by adding a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger and other modifications to push the output to 1,200 hp and 1,000 lb-ft. The motor also gets a strengthened iron block, upgraded pistons, a new belt drive and damper, a supercharger-specific camshaft and larger fuel injectors to deliver the extra go-juice it needs.

Ford swapped it into a Bronco that’s been transformed into a snowmobile. The build is nicknamed “Frostwarden.” It is a collaboration with Bronco specialist Kincer Chassis and was inspired by arctic rescue trucks. It rides on 42-inch tires and stands tall on 74Weld portals, which provide a four-inch lift tempered by Bilstein 9100 Series springs and dampers. Power gets to the wheels through a 10R100 transmission from an F-Series Super Duty and customized Dana 60 axles.

Widebody FiberworX fenders provide plenty of clearance and coverage, and the Turn Offroad front bumper has an integrated Warn winch. An RTR roof rack supports a Rigid off-road light bar, a full-size spare tire, and a Factor 55 recovery gear kit. A twin-stick shifter between the front seats controls the transfer case, and the interior is dressed in Katzkin leather for the show.

Ford has no plans to offer the Frostwarden as a model or a Ford Custom Garage kit. The Megazilla 2.0, however, will go on sale soon for racing builds and classic car conversions. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but the standard Megazilla lists for $25,295.
