Well that didn’t take long.

Unifor, the Canadian autoworkers union, has ended a strike against General Motors after less than a day on Tuesday.

The union had started picketing three plants, but a tentative agreement on a new contract was reached with the automaker and members headed back to work.

The factories included Oshawa Assembly, which builds the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and HD models.

The trucks are also built in the U.S. and Mexico, so the impact on supplies was minimal.

The St. Catherines Propulsion Plant that produces engines and transmissions for the Chevrolet Corvette and Equniox was also affected by the short stoppage.

Several of GM’s U.S. operations are still down, however, due to the ongoing UAW strike, with production of the Chevrolet Colorado, Express, Malibu, GMC Canyon, and Cadillac XT5 currently suspended.

Among the terms of the new three-year contract are base hourly wage increases of 20% for production workers and 25% for skilled tradeworkers, along with several other benefits and provisions.
