Kia is opening the order books for its upcoming EV9 three-row electric SUV on October 16 and has now revealed exactly how much all of the available models will cost.

The starting price for an entry-level EV9 Light RWD is $56,395, while a top of the line GT-Line e-AWD is $75,395, and there are three available trims in between them.

The first EV9s that will be delivered to U.S. customers late this year are being imported from Korea, but Kia is in the process of building an assembly line in West Point, Ga., that’s scheduled to start production in late 2024.

The EV9 Light RWD comes with a 215 hp motor rated at 258 lb-ft and a 76.1 kilowatt-hour battery pack good for just 223 miles of range, while a Light Long Range RWD model drops the power to 201 hp, but adds a 99.8 kWh pack that provides 300 miles of range for an extra $5,000.

A Wind e-AWD trim is next up with the larger battery pack, 379 hp, 443 lb-ft and a range of 270 miles starting at $65,395, while a Land e-AWD offers the same specifications, but a higher level of equipment for $71,395.

The GT-Line e-AWD is a sporty trim that gets a boost to 516 lb-ft and standard 21-inch wheels that drop its range to 253 miles.

All EV9 trims come equipped with an 800-volt electric architecture that can charge their batteries from 10-80% in 25 minutes on a 350 kW public DC fast charger.

The EV9 will initially be built with CCS (Combined Charging System) plugs, but Kia has announced that it is switching to the Tesla-designed NACS (North American Charging Standard) in late 2024.
