Nissan is jumping on the USA’s 250th Anniversary bandwagon with a special edition version of the American-made Frontier pickup.
The Nissan 250th Anniversary Edition features a grayscale stars and stripes tailgate decal and … well, nothing else.
Nissan is offering the celebratory feature for free on 2,500 Frontier Pro-4X pickups. It will be available on short and long wheelbase models, including those equipped with the Roush performance package.

Nissan recently marked the 1 millionth Frontier built at its Canton, Miss., factory and has built more than 2 million of the trucks in the U.S. since 1998.
“The Frontier has always stood for rugged capability, durability and adventurous fun – hallmarks of Nissan’s DNA,” Nissan Americas Chairman Christian Meunier said in a news release. “Just as importantly, it represents the strength of American manufacturing. As we celebrate -1 million Frontiers assembled in Canton during America’s 250th anniversary year, this special edition honors the workers, communities and enduring spirit that drive our industry and our country forward.”
The Frontier is currently the lowst-priced midsize pickup in the U.S. at $33,895 and sales were up 47.9% in the first quarter of 2026 to 21,411 units. The Pro-4X starts at $44,145.
Nissan is expected to launch an all-new Frontier for the 2028 model year and will be adding a new Xterra SUV built on the same chassis to the Canton plant in 2029.
